International University Hosts 17th ICCCI Conference on Computational Collective Intelligence 2025

On November 12, 2025, the International University, part of Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (IU–VNU HCM), in partnership with Wrocław University of Science and Technology (WUST) from Poland, commenced the 17th International Conference on Computational Collective Intelligence (ICCCI 2025). The event began with an opening session attended by approximately 150 authors, speakers, and guests, marking the beginning of a three-day scientific program.
Overview of ICCCI Conference
The ICCCI conference has been held annually for 17 years and is classified as a Rank B event in Australia’s CORE Conference Ranking. This year, out of 295 submissions received from 36 countries, 115 papers were selected through a peer-review process. Notably, 57 of the accepted papers were authored by researchers from Vietnam, indicating a significant presence from the country’s scientific community.
Conference Objectives
The conference aims to share the latest research in Computational Collective Intelligence, emphasizing its interdisciplinary nature. Key areas include artificial intelligence, multi-agent systems, data science, social networks, cognitive science, and collective behavior. The goal is to leverage computational methods to enhance decision-making, learning, and innovation in both human and automated systems.
Agenda Highlights
The agenda of ICCCI 2025 includes discussions on data and knowledge processing from various autonomous information sources, focusing on collective intelligence, decision-making processes, and knowledge integration, particularly in light of the rapid advancements in Generative AI driven by large language models.
Organizing Institutions
This conference is jointly organized by Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, and the International University, with support from Wrocław University of Science and Technology. Additional backing comes from the IEEE SMC Technical Committee on Computational Collective Intelligence and the European Research Center for Information Systems (ERCIS). The conference proceedings will be published by Springer in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science / Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence series, facilitating dissemination to the broader international academic community.
Keynote Presentations
The event features keynote presentations from experts in artificial intelligence, data science, natural language processing, and Internet of Things technology. Noteworthy speakers include Prof. Jie Lu from the University of Technology Sydney and Assoc. Prof. Nguyễn Thị Thúy Loan from the International University, who will present on advanced applications of fuzzy machine learning and graph neural networks, among other innovative research topics.
