Pameran Budaya Jerman UNY 2025: Kesuksesan Menginspirasi dengan Pujian dari DAAD

The Faculty of Language, Arts, and Culture at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (FBSB UNY) conducted the German Culture Exhibition on June 19, 2025. This event highlighted various aspects of German culture, showcasing the creativity and dedication of students involved in the learning process.
Participation and Organization
A total of 23 student groups participated in the exhibition, which included 9 groups from Kulturkunde A classes, 8 groups from Kulturkunde classes, and another 8 groups from the MBKM Kulturkunde classes, all guided by faculty members. The event commenced with addresses from Dr. Iman Santoso, representing the teaching staff, and Dr. Akbar Kuntardi Setiawan, head of the department. They emphasized the significance of the exhibition as both an educational tool and a platform for cultural promotion.
Exhibition Features
The exhibition featured interactive displays with booths presenting traditions, daily life, and contemporary issues related to German culture. Visitors had the opportunity to engage actively in various activities and win prizes. Entertainment included performances by student musical ensembles and the screening of creative videos.
Acknowledgments
Nina Eifler, a representative from DAAD, acknowledged the event’s organization, commending the quality of work from all participating groups and expressing hope for the continuation of similar events in the future. She noted the thorough preparation by students, particularly highlighting the interactive activities and multilingual presentation skills.
Participant Experiences
Exhibition participants expressed satisfaction with their experiences. Many participants articulated that the exhibition surpassed a mere academic assignment, providing insights into German culture and imparting values such as punctuality and environmental concern.
Conclusion
The 2025 German Culture Exhibition at FBSB UNY successfully introduced cultural elements while implementing a project-based learning model that enriched all participants and visitors. The success of this event creates opportunities for the organization of similar initiatives in the future as part of the faculty’s routine agenda.
