IPB University Students from MSP Program Achieve Success in Implementing MBKM at BPKIL Serang
Students from IPB University’s Aquatic Resource Management (MSP) Study Program have successfully implemented the Freedom of Learning – Independence Campus (MBKM) initiative at the Fish Health and Environmental Testing Center (BPKIL) in Serang. This program aimed to enhance both scientific knowledge and practical skills, focusing on competencies that align with industry requirements and the principles of the blue economy.
Program Activities and Duration
During the three-month program, which ran from September to December 2024, six students participated in a variety of activities, including water quality testing and laboratory work related to residues and biomolecules. These activities are essential for the sustainability of aquatic ecosystems.

One participant, Rizky Maulana Yusup, provided insights into the experience, noting the importance of the skills learned in laboratory testing and the maintenance of fish health, as well as the overall effort to preserve aquatic ecosystems.
