FCPC Triumphs in Cisco Networking Academy Regional Congress 2026

In a stunning display of skill and teamwork, the First City Providential College (FCPC) emerged as the champion in the Cisco Networking Academy (CNA) – Capture the Flag (CTF) during the Cisco Student Regional Congress 2026 on January 16, 2026, held at Holy Angels University, Angeles City, Pampanga. Competing against eight other prestigious institutions, FCPC outranked all contenders, including Wesleyan University – Philippines, Systems Plus College Foundation, and Bulacan State University – Main Campus, among others, in Region 3.
The triumphant team from FCPC was composed of three exceptional students: Joe Francis G. Silverio, a 4th-year BSIT student; Jhon Michael G. Calixtro, a 4th-year BSCS student; and Aldrin Jose V. Peña, a 3rd-year BSIT student. Their success was attributed to their impressive technical proficiency, critical problem-solving abilities, and exceptional collaboration.
This victory is a testament to the students’ dedication and perseverance, qualities that were honed through the rigorous training and education provided by FCPC. The competition tested participants’ expertise in network security and problem-solving, areas where the FCPC team excelled.
