FCPC-IAESTE 2025 Inbound Mobility Exchange Program officially ended; strengthened international connection

Global connection and cultural understanding uplift the community in First City Providential College (FCPC) as Thi Tuyet Mai Ha from the International School Thai-Nguyen University (ISTNU) Vietnam, successfully wrapped up her cultural and educational experience as part of the International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE) Inbound Mobility Exchange Program on January 6, 2026.
During the closing program, Mai emphasized how IAESTE Philippines has significantly helped her develop cultural appreciation beyond technical skills throughout her three-month stay.
“When I first came here, I just thought about how it will improve my CV quality, but I have learned more than that through the people,” Mai emphasized in her speech.
Notably, Mai completed her exchange program as part of her International Business program under the Marketing Department.
Beyond this, Dr. Estrella O. Simon, President, and National Secretary of IAESTE Philippines underscored how IAESTE continues to be instrumental in FCPC’s internationalization efforts as the primary platform for hosting foreign students and providing opportunities to gain technical and cultural experience abroad.
“Internationalization is really collaboration. I hope we were able to give the best picture of the Philippines to Mai (Thi Tuyet Mai Ha),” Simon said.
Faculty and staff, including several of Mai’s classmates alongside the FCPC IAESTE Local Committee came together in her closing program at the FCPC Star Hotel.
Serving as the National Secretariat of IAESTE Philippines, FCPC continues to empower diversity through internationalization and cultural exchange in the IAESTE Program.
