LHU Student Festival 2025 and 2025-2026 Academic Year Opening Ceremony at Lac Hong University
Lac Hong University (LHU) is scheduled to host the LHU Student Festival 2025 alongside the Opening Ceremony for the 2025–2026 academic year. The events will occur at the Buu Long Tourist Area and are anticipated to attract more than 3,000 participants, including students, faculty, and staff.
Prominent Attendees
Prominent attendees at the Opening Ceremony will include Mr. Nguyen Truong Son, a member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai People’s Committee, as well as representatives from local departments, enterprises, high schools, and media organizations. As one of the university’s largest annual events, the festival aims to promote engagement and inspire learning and creativity among students.
Partnership with Arizona State University
In a noteworthy development for the institution, LHU will become a comprehensive strategic partner with Arizona State University (ASU) in 2025. This partnership, part of the Cintana Education Alliance that encompasses 33 universities globally, is intended to enhance academic offerings. Beginning with the 2025-2026 academic year, LHU students and faculty will gain access to U.S.-standard academic programs and advanced educational technologies within Vietnam. This initiative reflects LHU’s commitment to improving educational standards and facilitating global integration to meet international workforce demands.
LHU Student Festival 2025
The LHU Student Festival 2025 will focus on international engagement, creating a vibrant learning environment aimed at providing practical experiences and fostering holistic development for students. Scheduled for October 30, 2025, the festival will include various activities such as traditional folk games, the “Ring the Golden Bell” contest, food booths, innovation experience zones, and artistic performances from different faculties.
Opening Ceremony Details
The Opening Ceremony for the 2025–2026 academic year is planned for 6:30 p.m. on the same day. During this event, LHU will review its achievements from the previous academic year, acknowledge outstanding groups and individuals, and distribute scholarships totaling over VND 9.8 billion to incoming students. Awards will include 9 valedictorian scholarships and 22 talent scholarships that cover first-semester tuition expenses.
LHU Open Day 2025 Music Festival
Following the ceremony, participants will attend the LHU Open Day 2025 Music Festival, which will feature performances by notable artists such as Phuong My Chi, Double2T, VietNam Kun, MC Rall, DJ Zan, and DJ Tina, along with performances from LHU’s student art teams.
