Ubon Ratchathani University Welcomes Exchange Students from HUFLIS, Vietnam

On August 18, 2025, Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU) conducted a welcome and orientation program for 19 exchange students from the University of Foreign Languages and International Studies, Hue University (HUFLIS) in Vietnam. The event was held in the Warin Chamrap Meeting Room, situated in Building 2 of the Office of the President at UBU.

Opening Remarks

The program included remarks from Associate Professor Dr. Chutinun Prasitpuriprecha, the President of UBU. Staff members from the Office of International Relations and Education provided attendees with essential information regarding UBU, guidance on campus life, and support to prepare the students for their upcoming experiences.

About the Exchange Program

This exchange program is part of the English Language Teaching Practicum, which is set to take place from August 15 to September 10, 2025, at UBU. The program aims to develop students’ professional teaching skills within an international framework. Participants will be involved in various activities, such as classroom observation, lesson planning, micro-teaching exercises, learning about Thai culture, and attending educational excursions.
