‘Thammasat and Saha Pathana Inter-Holding’ Join Forces to Bridge Academia and Industry

Thammasat University and Saha Pathana Inter-Holding (SPI) signed an MOU for academic collaboration, focusing on internships and cooperative education to improve human resource quality.
Prof. Dr. Supasawad Chardchawarn, Rector of Thammasat University, and Mr. Boonchai Chokwatana, Chairman of Saha Pathanapibul PLC, signed a memorandum of understanding for academic cooperation between Thammasat University and the Saha Pathana Inter-Holding on June 26, 2025, at BITEC Bangna. Attendees included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dumrong Adunyarittigun, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Ramiha Pacharavanich, Vice Rector for Administration (Pattaya Campus) and Enterprise Relations; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supreedee Rittironk, Vice Rector for International Affairs, along with assistant vice rectors, deans, and executives from the SPI Group.
In collaboration with the SPI Group, this initiative aims to enhance the quality of human resources through internship opportunities in the Internship Program and the Cooperative Education Program at the higher education level. It focuses on increasing the knowledge and experience necessary for practical work, while also promoting opportunities to apply specialized skills related to professional fields. Furthermore, it prepares students for entering the workforce after graduation, equipping them with skills and potential that align with the current labor market demands. This collaboration is therefore considered a fundamental foundation for students in developing and growing within their professional careers, as well as responding to the ever-changing demands of the business sector to achieve sustainable development in the future.
