School of Management Strengthens Global Partnerships with International Universities

A delegation from the School of Management at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), led by Dean Yang Zhi and Vice Dean Wang Haijun, visited IÉSEG School of Management in France from February 11 to 14, 2025. This visit coincided with the 2025 EFMD Conference for Deans and Directors General.

Cooperation Agreement Signing

During the visit, HUST and IÉSEG School signed a cooperation agreement to establish a “1+1+1” Professional Master’s Program. The IÉSEG School, recognized for its international accreditations, proposed a “3+2” cooperation program designed to enhance opportunities for students at the School of Management at HUST. This initiative builds on a bilateral student exchange agreement established the previous year.

Interactions at the EFMD Conference

At the EFMD conference, the HUST delegation interacted with prominent figures, including Metka Tekavčič from the EQUIS Accreditation Board. These interactions led to a preliminary agreement to host the 2026 EFMD Asia-Pacific Deans Conference at HUST’s School of Management. Additionally, the delegation networked with representatives from various international business schools, including Birmingham Business School, KEDGE Business School, and HEC Montreal.

The visit underlines HUST’s commitment to strengthening global partnerships and enhancing educational opportunities for its students through collaboration with leading international institutions.
