Thammasat Joins Forces with KBTG for New Master’s Program

Thammasat University, in collaboration with KBTG, the King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, and Mahidol University, has launched the KBTG Kampus project, introducing a Master’s degree program aimed at elevating the education in technology within Thailand. This initiative focuses on developing a new generation of Tech Talent through in-depth study and research based on real-world industry challenges, in order to strengthen capabilities and keep pace with the rapidly evolving technological landscape of the present day.
Professor Dr. Supasawad Chardchawarn, the Rector of Thammasat University, stated that the members of Thammasat must be aware and adept at utilizing these changes, both as tools to broaden the frontiers of knowledge and as instruments that assist us in our work as well as in our daily lives. The crucial role of educational institutions in this regard is to produce graduates who excel in fundamental disciplines alongside their understanding of technology.
Mr. Ruangroj Poonpol, Chairman of KASIKORN Business-Technology Group, stated that KBTG Kampus has launched a Master’s degree program designed in collaboration with three leading universities in Thailand. The curriculum has been developed by selecting real research challenges to ensure practical application in the current and future industrial landscape. Furthermore, it emphasizes disciplines that play a crucial role in driving technological advancement, including the development of data science for analysis and forecasting, artificial intelligence and innovation, as well as security.
