Keio University Open Campus 2024: Student Life Insights and Experiences
Keio University recently conducted its “Open Campus 2024: Student Life Edition” event on the Mita Campus from August 1 to August 2, 2024. The event saw participation from approximately 1,600 attendees over the two-day period.
Event Highlights
The program featured an information session that provided an overview of Keio University and insights into campus life. Roundtable discussions were also held, allowing prospective students to interact with current students. These discussions typically included groups of around ten prospective students and one current student, focusing on various topics such as preparations for entrance exams, motivations for applying to Keio University, and experiences of student life following enrollment.
Engaging Conversations
Initial apprehensions among prospective students transitioned into engaging conversations, as current students shared diverse experiences from their respective undergraduate faculties and campuses. Many attendees noted that the discussions were instrumental in assisting them with their decisions regarding faculty applications.
Campus Attractions
In addition to the organized events, visitors had the opportunity to explore various campus attractions, including special access to the Media Center and Mita Public Speaking Hall. The event’s high participation rate contributed to a vibrant atmosphere throughout both days.
