Monash leads Australia with over $38M in research funding

More than $35.6M has been awarded to over 82 Monash University research projects in Discovery Projects funding – the most for any Australian university – with a further five projects receiving over $2.9M in Linkage Grants funding from the Australian Research Council (ARC).

Provost and Senior Vice-President Professor Marc Parlange said the funding recognises the strength of Monash University’s research in delivering positive impact worldwide.

“Monash researchers have received the most funding of any Australian university. This is a testament to the high quality of our research and our focus on developing solutions to real-world challenges. It is wonderful to see the ARC acknowledge that tremendous potential. My warmest congratulations to all involved.”
