Behind The Data 2025 Final Round: HSU Students Showcase Research Skills in Business Analytics
Students from the Faculty of Business at Hoa Sen University (HSU) recently participated in the Final Round of the “Behind The Data 2025” competition, showcasing their research and analytical skills. This event emphasized the growing significance of data in business decision-making, offering participants a structured setting to apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios.
Organized Initiative
Organized by the GenZ Research Club at HSU, the initiative aims to cultivate research and critical thinking skills among students. The competition encompasses various disciplines, including business, finance, accounting, and fintech, reflecting current economic trends.
Final Round Presentations
During the final round, five leading teams presented their research topics. These presentations explored diverse areas such as consumer behavior regarding “Buy Now, Pay Later” services, customer satisfaction within electronic banking, and the influence of brand value on stock prices in the banking sector. Each team demonstrated a comprehensive approach to data observation and analysis.
Judging and Feedback
The judging panel featured professionals with extensive experience in finance and business, who commended the relevance of the topics and the logical reasoning demonstrated by the participants. They provided constructive feedback on areas such as methodology, sample selection, and theoretical frameworks, thereby enhancing the students’ research competencies to align with both academic and professional standards.
Competition Outcomes
In terms of competition outcomes, Group 4 earned first prize for their investigation into youth perceptions of accounting as a profession. Group 2 secured second place, while Group 1 finished third, each presenting their respective research topics. Two additional groups received consolation prizes for their commendable work.
