Lac Hong University Hosts Key Academic Exchange and INTENSE Full Scholarship Program

On November 17, 2025, Lac Hong University (LHU) conducted the “Academic Exchange & INTENSE Full Scholarship Introduction” program at Auditorium A301 on Campus 1. The event included participation from leaders and faculty members of Minghsin University of Science and Technology (MUST) and Taiwan Steel University of Science and Technology (TSUST). The primary objective of the program was to enhance educational, research, and international exchange opportunities for LHU students, particularly in the fields of semiconductors, finance, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
Key Representatives
Prominent representatives from LHU were present, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh, Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Quoc Huy, Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting; and M.A. Nguyen Thi Nhu Thuong, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies. Representatives from MUST comprised Mr. Li Chih-Hung, Vice President; Ms. Li Meng-Han, Deputy Director of the Office of International Affairs; Mr. Sheng Tien-Tzu, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronic Engineering; and Ms. Vu Ngoc Minh Thao, Project Director. TSUST was represented by Mr. Pan Chien-Liang, Head of International Affairs, and Ms. Ha Hong-Tham, Project Director, along with LHU faculty and students.
INTENSE Full Scholarship Overview
During the program, university representatives discussed the INTENSE full scholarship aimed at LHU students pursuing studies in semiconductors, finance, and STEM. The scholarship covers full tuition and provides opportunities for research and internships at leading technology companies in Taiwan, recognized for its advancements in the semiconductor industry. This initiative intends to enhance LHU students’ educational experiences and improve their competitiveness in a global environment.
Topics of Discussion
Additional presentations addressed topics such as the global progress of the semiconductor industry, the demand for STEM professionals in the high-tech sector, financial roles within technology ecosystems, and trends in engineering research applications. These discussions aimed to broaden LHU students’ professional perspectives and provide insight into worldwide workforce demands.

The event highlighted the collaboration between LHU and its Taiwanese partners, emphasizing the commitment to fostering international education and enhancing student competitiveness.
