Multimedia University Showcases Innovative Educational Project at KIS 2025

Multimedia University (MMU) participated in the Karnival Inovasi Sosial (KIS) 2025, held from October 16 to 18 at GMBB Mall in Bukit Bintang. This event was organized by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) and Yayasan Inovasi Malaysia (YIM) to foster collaboration and idea exchange among innovators, industry stakeholders, and community partners, aimed at generating social impact.
Presentation of Educational Game
Representing MMU, Mr. Vincent Chan from the Faculty of Business and student Darren Bong from the Faculty of Law presented an educational game titled *Jayden’s Story Board Game*. The game is intended to enhance children’s storytelling abilities and improve their confidence. The project received funding from MMU’s Technology Transfer Office and garnered positive responses from attendees at the convention, as well as interest from potential collaborators.
Commitment to Social Innovation
MMU’s participation in KIS 2025 demonstrates its commitment to social innovation and collaboration with both governmental and non-governmental organizations, such as MOSTI and YIM, through the Knowledge Transfer Programme (KTP). This initiative aims to align academic research with community needs, facilitating partnerships that contribute to societal development.
