Sunway University Signs MOA with Four ABA Centres to Enhance Clinical Training for Postgraduate Students

Sunway University has officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with four leading centres in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) to strengthen clinical placement opportunities for its Master of Applied Behaviour Analysis (MABA) students.

The signing ceremony, held on campus, marks a significant milestone in the university’s commitment to developing skilled, compassionate behaviour analysts through hands-on training and professional supervision.

The four partner organisations, ABA Therapy Project, Blueprinsm, The Learning Curve (TLC), and SEED Services are well-regarded for their work in early intervention, neurodiversity-affirming care, and evidence-based ABA practices. Under this partnership, students will be placed at these centres to gain supervised clinical experience in working with neurodivergent children and individuals with developmental delays.

Speaking at the event, Sunway University President Professor Sibrandes Poppema emphasised the importance of university-industry collaboration in professional education. The Deputy Dean (Employability and Alumni) of the School of Medical and Life Sciences, who served as emcee, noted, “These partnerships will play a vital role in shaping our students’ practical competencies and in contributing to better outcomes for the communities we serve.”

This initiative aligns with Sunway University’s goal of advancing excellence in health sciences education through partnerships that foster real-world learning, inclusivity, and social impact.
