Chung-Ang University Signs MOU with SUNY Buffalo for Enhanced Academic Cooperation

Chung-Ang University (CAU) has entered a memorandum of understanding with the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York (SUNY Buffalo), aimed at fostering academic cooperation. The agreement was signed on July 31 during a visit by President Sang-Gue Park of CAU to SUNY Buffalo, accompanied by President Satish K. Tripathi of SUNY Buffalo.

Signing Ceremony and Collaborative Opportunities
The signing ceremony included a seminar focused on potential collaborative opportunities between the two institutions. Vice Provost for International Education Nojin Kwak led the event, which featured participation from deans and officials of various academic departments, including the School of Architecture and Planning, the Graduate School of Education, and the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Discussions centered on strategies for research and educational collaboration, with a particular emphasis on student exchange programs and research initiatives.
Anticipated Outcomes of the Partnership
The newly established partnership is anticipated to bolster research cooperation and offer CAU students increased opportunities to study at SUNY Buffalo. This collaboration also aims to extend CAU’s existing connections with institutions in the western United States to include partnerships in the eastern region.
