Korean University Students Discover Entrepreneurship Opportunities Through Student Startups at Multimedia University

A group of students from Daegu University, Yeungnam University, and Kyungil University in South Korea participated in an entrepreneurship session hosted by the Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC) on February 19, 2025. The event, organized by the International Collaboration and Engagement office, aimed to provide insights into startup development in a university context.

Session Overview

During the session, the students examined various challenges, opportunities, and strategies associated with launching successful business ventures. Four students shared their entrepreneurial experiences and highlighted their business initiatives, which led to engaging discussions among the participants.

Campus Tour

The attendees also participated in a campus tour that included visits to multiple faculties and facilities. This initiative is intended to promote cross-cultural knowledge exchange and to cultivate entrepreneurial mindsets among students from South Korea and Malaysia.

Program Goals

The program aims to inspire and equip future entrepreneurs with essential skills needed to foster innovation and create impactful businesses.
