UGM KKN PPM Students Innovate Livestock Feed Fermentation and Clean Water Processing Technology in Pacitan
Students from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) participating in the KKN PPM program have initiated two significant projects in Pacitan, Indonesia. These projects focus on livestock feed fermentation and the implementation of clean water processing technology.
Livestock Feed Fermentation Project
The livestock feed fermentation project seeks to improve the nutritional value of animal feed, which may benefit local farmers by enhancing livestock health and productivity. This initiative aims to increase the availability of quality feed in the region, thereby supporting the agricultural sector in Pacitan.
Clean Water Processing Technology
In parallel, the project concerning clean water processing technology addresses the urgent need for safe drinking water within the community. This technology promotes accessible and efficient methods for water purification, which are vital for public health and overall well-being.
Community Development Efforts
These initiatives exemplify the application of academic knowledge by UGM students in addressing pressing local challenges, thereby contributing to the community development efforts in Pacitan.
