About the Malaysia Industry Experience Project

The Malaysia Industry Experience Project, collaboratively developed by the Teaching and Learning (T&L) department and the Careers Advisory Service (CAS), aims to provide students with practical experience and insights into various industries. In partnership with Practera, the initiative enables students to engage in real-world projects located in the Australia-Pacific region, requiring a minimum of 25 hours of commitment over two weeks. Students take on the role of ‘student consultants,’ utilizing virtual collaboration tools to achieve project goals. This program enhances the academic experience of participants while fostering critical collaboration and problem-solving skills necessary for future workplace success.
