Chula University President Wilert Puriwat Elected Chairman of ASAIHL for 2025-2026
On November 29, 2024, it was announced that Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, has been elected as the Chairman of the Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL) for the 2025-2026 term.
About ASAIHL
ASAIHL was established through a collaborative meeting of presidents and rectors from eight public universities in Southeast Asia, with the goal of promoting academic excellence in various areas including teaching, research, and community service. The organization functions as a platform for information exchange and offers seminars that focus on academic and university development. Currently, ASAIHL includes over 254 member institutions across 28 countries.
