The Interkultur Foundation, which manages events and competitions related to choral singing with a global network, has updated the INTERKULTUR World Rankings: TOP1000. This ranking is calculated based on the cumulative scores from various competitions worldwide within the Interkultur network.
In 2024, the Thammasat University Chorus (TU Chorus) rose to rank 484 in the world rankings, surpassing the TOP 500 in just two years. This achievement has not only showcased the beautiful culture of Thailand to the international community but has also brought prestige and honor to Thammasat University and the country.
In 2022, TU Chorus participated in the 7th Vietnam International Choir Competition 2023, in Hoi An, Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The choir was awarded 2 Golden Diplomas in the following categories: 1. A1 – Mixed Choir: Golden Diploma Level I and 2. F – Folklore: Golden Diploma Level I.
In 2023, TU Chorus participated in the 1st Phnom Penh International Choir Competition 2024, in Phnom Penh, Kingdom of Cambodia. The choir was awarded 2 Golden Diplomas in the following categories: 1. B1 – Mixed Choirs, difficulty level II: Golden Diploma Level II, and 2. F – Folklore: Golden Diploma Level I.
