Diplomas Awarded to Graduates of the Institute of Natural Sciences

The Institute of Natural Sciences held a graduation ceremony celebrating the achievements of its undergraduate and postgraduate students, marking an important academic milestone for the university community. This year, a total of 594 bachelor’s and 142 master’s students successfully completed their studies, including 126 graduates who earned distinction with honours.
The Institute also celebrated the 30th graduating cohort of the Geography educational programme, highlighting its long-standing contribution to training highly skilled specialists in the field.
The ceremony was attended by Acting Vice-Rector for Science and Commercialization and Member of the University Board, Abzal Taltenov, who congratulated the graduates and emphasized their strong competitiveness in the labour market. He noted that the university has achieved a 97% employment rate for graduates over the past three years, reflecting the high quality of education and professional preparation.
Distinguished guests, including representatives from government, academia, and industry, extended their congratulations and encouraged graduates to continuously develop their professional skills and contribute to national development. The Vice Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, Talgat Momyshov, highlighted the growing demand for young specialists in the water sector and urged graduates to serve the country with dedication and professionalism.
The event also featured cultural performances by the “Naz” dance ensemble and university students. Graduates of the military department were awarded the rank of lieutenant in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Defense, marking another proud achievement of the ceremony.
