IPB University Distributes 5,240 Hari Raya Gift Packages to Employees

IPB University has distributed a total of 5,240 Hari Raya gift packages to its employees. The recipients include civil servants, permanent non-civil servants, contract employees, and casual daily workers. The distribution event took place on March 19, 2025, at the Gymnasium on the IPB Dramaga campus in Bogor.

Contents of the Gift Packages

This year’s gift packages contain ten items, which include 1 kilogram of beef, 0.5 kilograms of beef liver, two whole chickens, 1 kilogram of red tilapia, 0.5 kilograms of shrimp, 2 kilograms of premium rice, 1 liter of cooking oil, 1 kilogram of sugar, a bottle of syrup, and 1 kilogram of wheat flour.

Statements from University Officials

Dr. Alim Setiawan Slamet, the Vice Rector for Resource Resilience and Infrastructure, noted the institution’s emphasis on employee welfare and stated that the distribution of these gifts would not be impacted by efficiency measures. He remarked that “efficiency should not interfere with educational process activities and employee welfare.”

Dr. Heti Mulyati, the Director of Human Resources, highlighted that the gift distribution is a regular initiative intended to express appreciation to employees for their contributions to the university. Notably, the quantity of beef provided has increased from 0.75 kilograms to 1 kilogram, and the overall number of gift packages has risen by 0.8 percent compared to the previous year.
