Nagoya University News: International Joint Research Center Certification for Institute for Space-Earth Environmental Research
Nagoya University’s Institute for Space-Earth Environmental Research (ISEE) has been certified as an International Joint Research Center by Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). This certification represents a significant milestone for ISEE, designating it as the first International Joint Research Center at Nagoya University and the seventh in Japan. The recognition is expected to enhance the research resources available to the institute and contribute to advancing Japan’s academic capabilities.

Established in 2015, ISEE focuses on addressing global environmental challenges and improving the understanding of interactions between Earth and space. The center’s research is framed within an interconnected system, aiming to elucidate the mechanisms and interactions in these domains.
Research Initiatives
